Goodbye 2017 my friend. Hello 2018!
Many moons ago I had a blog. I don't think a lot of people read my blog but I didn't care. It was a way for me just to write down events that happened in my life. Fast forward to 2018!
As I was cooking dinner tonight and listening to the craziness of my little ones running around the house I realized that I missed blogging so here I am, blogging again.
So for tonight's musing it's going to be about dinner that was made. Since I won't be mentioning our names in this blog you will know us by Gish (the writer) and Flux (the husband).
I was in the mood for some teriyaki chicken. There is an awesome place down the road from us that makes DELICIOUS teriyaki chicken bowls but too pricey imo when I had all the ingredients to make my own at home.
After the chicken was all cut I tossed it in the pan to fry up while I got the steemed broccoli going along with the rice, seared zucchini, carrots and squash. I found a pretty good teriyaki chicken recipe online that I thought I would try out. (Sorry no photo this time, forgot to take it before we ate)
After we were all done eating I turned to Flux and said what rating would you give dinner tonight. I want your honest opinion. He responded 7/10, would eat it again. We laughed and talked about what could be done better next time around but we both liked it.
Here is the recipe I found online. Try it out and let me know what you think!
-Cheers
